309/309S 310S Stainless Steel Plate

Stainless steel is an iron-based alloy containing at least 10.5% chromium and a maximum carbon content of 1.2%. In addition to chromium, stainless steel also contains other elements such as nickel, molybdenum, titanium, nitrogen, etc., which work together to improve different properties of the material, such as corrosion resistance, strength and weldability.

Stainless Steel Plate Weight Calculation

Plate weight Formula: L × W × T × density.

For example, with a plate dimension of 1500 mm width x 1.5 mm height x 3000 mm length, the volume is 0.00675 m3, given a density of 7930 kg/m3, so the weight of the plate is 0.00675m3 x 7930kg/m3 = 53.5 kg.
