Cold-rolled steel is rolled at room temperature and then rolled again below its recrystallization temperature. This process allows for better control of the shape, thickness, size of the finished product and a more consistent surface effect.

Cold rolled steel coil is steel treated by cold rolling process. Cold rolling is a manufacturing process in which hot-rolled steel is passed through a roller at room temperature, where it is compressed and molded into a thinner, more precise coil.
